When Northwestern Mutual Financial Network was looking to relocate its downtown Los Angeles offices, the team wanted a space that reflects the stability and integrity that is fundamental to their role as financial advisors. At the same time, they needed a fresh environment to attract a talented workforce of young recruits.
Understanding these cultural needs as well as the practical aspects of the project, Wirt Design Group responded with a clean, contemporary design that simultaneously represents the company's solid foundation and bright future. A rational floorplan maximizes efficiency, creating elegant public zones for conferences and meetings and private hubs to support the firm's team-based organizational structure.
NMFN and Wirt Design chose to work with IOS to provide 130 workstations, 50 private offices, over 200 Haworth Zody chairs, and a mix of conference room, lobby, and other ancillary furniture. IOS furnished all the product in the new, two-floor, 45,000-square-foot Los Angeles office. The fast paced project was competed on-time and to the client's satisfaction.
