Cathay Bank opened for business in 1962 with the mission of providing financial services to the growing but underserved Chinese-American community in the greater Los Angeles area. Over the past 4 decades Cathay Bank has thrived and expanded rapidly, and is now part of a publicly traded financial institution with stockholder equity of approximately $1.30 billion and total assets of $11.39 billion.
IOS partnered with Gensler to furnish Cathay Bank’s new 113,000 sq. ft, 7-story headquarters. The complex, multi-phase project was completed on time and on budget.
